Phu Kao Phu Pan Kam national park has an office that located in the lakefront behind Ubolratana Dam in Nonsang District area. There are two interested tourist places that are Phu Kao and Phu Pan Kam.Phu Pan Kam’s mountain range lie down along from north to south from Mueng District Nongbualumphu to Ubolratana Dam where is a border of Nongbualumphu province and Khon Kaen province. Phu Pan Kum is a mountain in the east of Nam Pong River. It is also a part of the north of Phu pan. There are a beautiful scenery of a lake behind Ubolratana Dam where is a section of fish culture and famous fishing zone.
Phu Kao consist of Phu Fang, Phu Khum Poon, Phu Hun, Phu Mei, Phu Ko Mo, Phu Chan,Phu por, Phu luag and Phu Wat. All of them are very complex. There are so many types of tree and animal, cave, waterfall and rock yard which look like the castle. In Palahai cave has the drawing and sculpture of the prehistoric period. There is also a rest house on the top of the mountain which called heaven rest house.
